Hayley is certified by the International Hypopressives Council in both levels 1 and 2 of the Hypopressive Exercise Method. Hayley is a qualified Personal Trainer from Auckland, New Zealand.

With over 10 years experience specialising in postnatal rehabilitation, pregnancy exercise, breathing mechanics and functional strength training Hayley has worked with a wide variety of clients.

While she has an unsatiable passion for postnatal rehabilitation, around half of Hayley’s clients are males who train with her for functional strength and conditioning or rehabilitation.

She was blown away upon finding the Hypopressives Method and how it has provided incredible results for a wide variety of her clients in such short spaces of time.

Here is a review from Hayley about the Hypopressive Method…

The Hypopressive Method is legitimately the most mind-blowing type of training I have come across in my professional career. It has provided results faster than any other traditional method for my clients (and myself) in terms of breathing retraining, optimal core function, postural retraining, and flattening the abdominal wall.

Personally it has helped me recover completely from prolapse after my third child, and has provided fast results for some of my prolapse clients who felt like they had tried everything else, with no luck.

Fitness wise, it has improved my cardio fitness dramatically. I am not a natural runner and I can now run with ease as my breathing is no longer an issue. This should be a part of every athletes regime to enhance their athletic endurance.

There is a clear link between anxiety and dysfunctional breathing. This method is extremely benefical for anyone who suffers from Anxiety or Depression as it focuses on stimulating your parasympathetic nervous system to “relax, rest and digest”.

I like to think of Hypopressives as yoga for your abdominals. It strengthens and lengthens, which in turn then regulates the resting tone of the diaphragm, pelvic floor and core.

And it leaves you feeling AMAZING!
